From many tubes balms to Blaam
I envisioned a safe lite to medium lip moisturizer that I could apply without wiping off immediately after applying.
From to heavy, to thick,from to light, to so shiny, from to shiny to that taste gross!!... to that was overpowering. After applying numerous major brands & local brands ... Closest to satifiaction was local brand which is not available continuesly & had many oils combined..way to many. In Alaska the cold will take your lips and make the bark ....& not for treats....in dry summer or the insane winter.
Check your labels in your drawer ...laundry jean pocket, or the crevice side of your vehicle seat ... Won't find these ingredients in any tube! Why b/cuz @ Blaam we do lips!!! MMMwahhh!!!
Our formulas are mixed with a specific ratio to permeate the epidermis. As the body, lips need moisture frequently aka licking or beverages or Petroleum products..... (YUCK)!! Licking is a indication of loss of moisture. Which is a duel edge sword, acknowledging saliva is acidic and evaporate seemingly immediately.
The American Academy of dermatology recommends :

As a non-glandular mucous membrane, your lips do not have the ability to generate their own moisture. They do not contain the same concentration of oil-producing sebaceous glands as the rest of the body and are therefore less lubricated and more susceptible to dryness and peeling. Should be noted Vaseline or any petroleum based moisturizer does NOT moisturize. Any petroleum product is a Surfactant (surface).
Blaam utilizes Humectants with can be absorbed, which is the reason to consistently reapply.
For our base Organic bran wax is used and preferred, this also to encourage bee habitats to thrive by not using the common bee's wax.
Shea butter is great if it's in your hair on skin, in a balm it does very little to support to amount moister lips need consistently. For this purpose, Kokum or Sal butter are incorporated. These have some of the highest content of cellular hydration.
Castor oil. There is no comparison to the absorption castor provides on cellular level.
Plant based Retinol, Aka Vitamin A .... Organically sourced, this is where the treatment occurs the clinically prove to improve ageing skin, reduce fine lines lighten dark spots and the most important issue reduce dead Skin. (chapped lips). It also adds pouty-ness.
